Pam Haney named Varsity Girls Head Coach for AYLC

Pam Haney, AYLC Varsity Girls Head Coach

Auburn Youth Lacrosse Club (AYLC) is excited to announce our Varsity Girls Head Coach Pam Haney. Once a multi-sport athlete, Pam brings on-field experience plus over 10 years of coaching to AYLC. She has been an integral part of the Auburn Parks and Rec community coaching numerous youth sports and has spent the last two years leading our AYLC U14 Girls team towards success.

Outside of coaching, Pam serves as the Research and Development Manager for the Canine Performance Sciences program at Auburn's College of Veterinary Medicine. In the past 12 years, she has innovated and advanced canine detection technology to help make the world a safer place. Pam Haney has a BS in Exercise Science, a MS in Exercise Physiology, and will shortly complete her PhD in Biomechanics.

Pam brings the right combination of perspective and skill to lead the AYLC Varsity Girls team forward as the program grows.

From Coach Pam:

“I am very excited about this opportunity, coaching allows me to pair my knowledge and passions to help others succeed. My goal is to empower young female athletes, not only in athletics, but in their future life goals. I want our girls to understand and believe the are capable of achieving any goals they set.

Failure only exists when you quit, and quitting is never an option. Refocus your objective if necessary, but choose to persevere. Choose to be awesome.”
